I want to start off by saying my father was absolutely the most adorable person to have been placed on this earth.
Another short but sweet weekend away with 2 of my girls. This is my third time to Barcelona yet it still excites me to know it will be sunny and the temperature will definitely be in double figures. The art of Gaudi, tapas, amazing architecture, cool shops, super friendly people and the yummy bad ass Mojito’s is what I love!
Again I tend to walk as much as I eat (which was a lot) with my little toe just about able to take the last few steps with the fiction of my new Nike trainers rubbing on it which makes walking just about bearable. Walking in Barcelona is amazing with every other building just as unique and beautiful as the next.
The second part of my US trip was to Santa Monica!! I was so excited to get to my apartment which was just awesome on its own! The location was perfect and I would not have stayed anywhere else… Oh yeah we also got 2 beach cruisers with the apartment. I have to say that I did spend a lot of time practicing how to ride the dam thing as it didn’t have brakes on the handles. You kind of had to back peddle to break and with my super responsive reflexes I was literally one back peddle away from catapulting myself into the air and landing in between LA traffic .
After an 11 hour flight having watched 4 films back to back I arrive at San Francisco airport tired yet super excited to have finally arrived. Going through my pictures brings my heart back to this amazing place! It was so overwhelming on how friendly, chilled out and polite everyone was. Again I used Airbnb to find my perfect apartment and we stayed in a real gem. Slap bang in the centre of everything, 5 min to downtown, 2 blocks to Polk street we could not have asked for more. Yassine’s studio apartment was awesome and when I return (because I definitely will) I would definitely stay there again
